Job Center

We Are HOPE, Inc. has been trying our best to continue serving our community through these trying times.  All Wisconsin Job Centers were mandated to close on March 25th with the Safer at Home Order.  Being the Door County Job Center; our doors closed that day too.  We really struggled with the idea of closing, after all, we are a community resource that is relied on to be here for employment support and unemployment access, how could we close the doors to this vital service when the public needs us most?  We decided that even with the mandated closures of the Door County Job Centers, that We Are HOPE, Inc. would be here for you!  Thankfully the Door County Emergency Response Fund was made available!  Utilizing this award as well as some community donations that came in, helped fund our staffing so we could maintain some hours to be available.  Thank you so much for your support!

In the first month even with being closed we supported 144 community members through the process by phone, email and 45 of the 144 were in person visits of individuals who had no internet access and/or did not have smart phones.  Up through July we have served 185 individuals in person while keeping our doors locked.

With the changing of times, We Are HOPE, Inc. has decided to re-open to the public within strict parameters.
We will be staffed Monday thru Wednesday.
*From 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. we will be available those days to answer any questions   by phone or email.
*From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. we will allow up to 4 individuals in our Employment Resource Center at the same time.  Appointments will be preferred but are not required.
*Our  doors will remain locked, allowing us to adhere to our safety guidelines that are   posted on the door for all to read.  Masks are required!

COVID-19 has us all struggling to ensure we continue to provide quality services but also maintain the health and safety of our community and our staff.

We Are HOPE, Inc  has been serving our community since 1978.  Our organization has undergone many changes over the years.  From the modest Women's Employment Project office at the
Phil Mart at the turn of the millennium,  to the current We Are HOPE, Inc. location at the Cherry Point Mall, with your help, we hope to continue to provide excellent services to our community.
