Our Mission

We Are HOPE, Inc. supports residents and businesses of Northeast Wisconsin by providing opportunities in the area of employment, career services, energy conservation, and home improvement.

Visit us today!  The  HOPE, Inc. Administrative offices and the Energy and Employment areas are located straight ahead through the main entrance of the Cherry Point Mall, 1300 Egg Harbor Road, Sturgeon Bay, WI.


We Are HOPE, Inc. partners with employers to obtain and maintain a well-trained and qualified workforce.
We help job seekers achieve and maintain quality employment by providing services through the Door County Job Center, Bay Area Workforce Development and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. 

Services Include:
  • Job Center for those seeking a career change or future employment. 
  • Moving Forward assists incarcerated men and women with re-entry into the workforce. 
  • Job Development allows job coaching for people with disabilities.
  • Be Smart about Education Seminars for information about managing the high cost of higher education. 

The services listed above are made possible with funding from the Bay Area Workforce Development Board, the United Way of Door County, the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Door County Human Services and other community minded leaders.


Eligible county residents may apply to receive assistance for heating and electric costs, furnace emergencies or home weatherization services.

  • Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP) provides assistance for heating and electric costs, furnace emergencies and other energy crisis situations. 
  • Weatherization Program: Provides services that help clients reduce their energy bills and conserve energy,  
  • Focus on Energy Fee for Service Program: Provides home energy audits for a nominal fee to those households not currently enrolled in the low income programs listed above.
